Mercedes Air Bag Recall

Mercedes-Benz is recalling 400,000 cars in the UK over an electrical fault that can cause the airbags to deploy by mistake.

Mercedes advise that there had been a number of cases worldwide reported of this issue, although none have been reported in the UK.

The models affected include the A-Class, B-Class, C-Class and E-class, the CLA, GLA and GLC range, built between November 2011 and July 2017.

Mercedes said the cars are safe to drive under normal conditions, but owners are warned that if the red airbag warning light appears on the dashboard they should call Mercedes Roadside Assist immediately.

JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions have had no official notification form Mercedes- Benz , but would like to make all our customers aware. As soon as JCT600 receive official notice, we will communicate to all our customers.
